Cancellations due to inclement weather decision

In the event of inclement weather, your board has decided to follow the lead of the Des Moines Public Schools. If they cancel classes or dismiss early on the day of our monthly meeting, then the Des Moines Woodworkers will not meet.

In that case, we will post our cancellation on both the public and member-only sides of our website, and we will ask KCCI TV to add us to their lists of cancellations.

Check KCCI TV, on air or online (www.kcci.com/weather/closings), or our website (www.dmwoodworkers.org) and look for a banner announcement at the top of the home page.

As always, use your best judgment. It’s OK to stay home if travel feels unsafe. Even if the meeting is still on.
