Since 1985, The Des Moines Woodworkers Association, Incorporated (DMWA) has provided education for area woodworkers of all ages and skill levels, as well as opportunities to participate in community service.

DMWA members meet 9 months a year on the 3rd Thursday of the month (September-May). The monthly meetings consist of a program on a particular aspect of the woodworking disciplines, sharing of ideas to improve woodworking skills and safety, and show-and-tell of completed projects. Meetings are also streamed live on Zoom.

Members of the DMWA receive:

• A membership card which will provide discounts are leading local and catalog suppliers

• Preferred rates for club sponsored classes and seminars

• Access to an extensive library of tools, books, DVDs, and videos of past club programs

• Participation in a range of Special Interest Groups

• Notification of special field trips through the summer
