Festival of Trees and Lights 2019 : day 4 of 5
The Des Moines Woodworkers, Des Moines Woodturners and Mid-Iowa Wood Carvers have sponsored and decorated a tree the Festival of Trees and Lights for many years. You can get involved by making and donating ornaments for our tree at one of our meetings, volunteering to help at the event, or just by attending!
Volunteer help is needed November 21st, 24th and 25th plus any help you can give with ornaments. A little pilgrim told us that snacks and beverages may be provided. Festival of Trees & Lights is a five-day public event that is the main fundraiser for Blank Children's Hospital. The event features beautifully decorated trees, entertainment, children's activities, food, shopping and more!
Your attendance means you are supporting valuable programs at Blank Children's Hospital. Programs that would not be possible without the generous support of our community.
We invite you to attend Festival, volunteer at Festival or support Festival by making a contribution, decorating a tree or donating books.
