I received an award for Parquetry at the Iowa State Fair, I will bring that piece to this meeting to talk about. I will be giving a presentation on Parquetry for the Ames Woodworkers and I thought that I could make the same presentation for the Saturday Morning Furniture Makers Group for the September meeting.
I will be going over some of the same topics as the presenter discussed during the DMWWA's spring program. I will have better solutions for dealing with veneers. Please join us on the 14th of September at the Woodsmith Store, 9:30 AM.

The October meeting will concern jigs and fixtures. John will bring the various items that he had to create to make the legs for the Pembroke table that he's in the process of building. He will bring full size drawings of the medallion and the bells. Please bring your jigs and fixtures and join us at the Woodsmith Store on the 12th of October at 9:30 AM.
