The Furniture Society's annual conference is being held virtually again this year. Normally held in a furniture- or craft-focussed city in the US, the conference draws studio furniture makers and instructors from across the US for presentations, workshops and community. The closest the conference has been held to Des Moines was in Kansas City and Milwaukee, so this is a great chance to check them out without the added cost of travel and hotels.
Events will run Wednesday-Saturday June 8th-11th. Note that times on their website are Eastern time zone, one hour ahead of Iowa.
More information can be found at https://furnsoc.org/fs22/ and we will feature their daily schedule on our calendar.
